The
European Evangelical Alliance (EEA )
is delighted to announce the appointment
of an experienced Danish politician to represent
Europe's evangelicals to the institutions
of the European Union. Tove

7 years as a Member of
the Danish National Parliament, after an

June as the EEA Brussels Representative.
She will seek to help to strengthen the
future of European culture, around historically
agreed Christian social and ethical values.
The EEA is an Alliance of Europe's evangelicals
in 33 countries and is committed to
a positive transformational contribution
to the welfare of early 21st century Europe.
EEA represents a grassroots constituency
of ten million evangelical Christians from
Ireland to Kazakhstan , Portugal to Russia.
Mrs Videbaek's passion for the welfare of
others has been reflected in her work as
an MP in Denmark: which reveals a deep commitment
to the poor and the disadvantaged. She is
married to Mogens, they have two adult children,
and two grandchildren.
Videbaek says: "In the EEA, our
political realism is driven by a vision
of just societies rooted in values that
have contributed significantly to the welfare
of many peoples for many centuries. As EEA,
we are committed to playing our part, alongside
many others, in the continuing debate about
European identity and culture in the early
21st century. I am very much looking forward
to this new role"
