EEA plays a key role in encouraging cooperation among the religious liberty community in Europe.
The Fundamental Freedoms Project is about

-Creating the environment that is needed if freedom of conscience for all will be possible as we all live alongside those of different beliefs and worldviews.

-Creating a civil public square in which people of any or no faith can be themselves without compromise but are willing to handle tensions with civility.

-Working with people of any or no faith to mobilize widespread support for our goal of freedom of conscience for all.

In the last couple of years, EEA has worked with Os Guinness and many partners to devise and launch the Global Charter of Conscience in several nations.  The Charter, setting out a vision for a civil public square, has been widely praised by politicians and faith leaders.  See www.charterofconscience.org    Discussions and reflection continue on how progress can be made towards a better way of societies handling religious pluralism.
