A Prayer for Ukraine and Russia

(Scripture Readings: Ps 31, Ps 26, Ps 91, Ps 82)

Lord of Hosts:

You make wars to cease unto the end of the Earth

You break the bow, and chop the spear in two

And you will burn the chariots in consuming fire,

We call out to You:   break down all evil forces and
restore peace and safety.

God of Refuge and Strength:

You are the hiding place of your little ones

Angels will watch over the weary ones

You are a safe haven for those who left their homes and villages

We call out to You:  Be their shelter against every attack and
provide a safe place for their future

Good Shepherd,  Son of David:

You are full of compassion and mercy for the scattered flock

You will carry the littles ones on your shoulder

Giving your Life for their salvation

We call out to You:  Heal the Flock, the wounded and the broken.

Ruler and Judge of the Nations

The Heavens shall declare your Righteousness

The Nations shall be gathered for Your Throne

“Have you shown My Mercy to your neighbour?”

We call out to You :  Fill us with your mercy and
compassion for each other as Nations

Sovereign Lord, King of King

You  reign and rule over Israel and all the Nations

Every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess ; You are Lord

Every king shall bend his knee and lay down his crown.

We call out to You :  Give our kings and leaders a humble heart and
servant attitude.

May your kingdom come, May your will be done.

Our Father, who art in heaven,

hallowed be thy name; in Ukraine and Russia

 thy kingdom come; in Ukraine and Russia

thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven; in Ukraine and Russia

Give us this day our daily bread; in Ukraine and Russia

and forgive us our trespasses; in Ukraine and Russia

 as we forgive those who trespass against us; in Ukraine and Russia

and lead us not into temptation; in Ukraine and Russia

but deliver us from evil; in Ukraine and Russia

From thine is the kingdom; in Ukraine and Russia

the Power; in Ukraine and Russia

And the Glory; in Ukraine and Russia

For ever and ever; in Ukraine  and Russia
