Topic: For the glory of God and the blessing of His people
The Evangelical Alliance Week of Prayer is an old but golden tradition. Going back to the year after the launch of the Evangelical Alliance in 1846, it was one of the agreed initiatives that came out of that founding conference and has since been celebrated every year across Europe.
In 2027, the Week of Prayer (WOP) has the main theme ‘For the glory of God and the blessing of His people’. Thankfully, the Spanish Evangelical Alliance has produced the material for the Week of Prayer, which is available on this page. In addition to some recommendations for hosting a prayer meeting during the Week of Prayer, devotions, as well as thanksgiving, confession and request prayers are offered for each individual day of the week.

The development of next year’s WOP material has been coordinated by a project team. Members of the project team are Marcos Zapata, Pablo Martínez, Emilio Carmona, Jaume Llenas, José Hutter, Francisca Capa, Israel Montes, José Moreno, Pablo López, Efraín Millán, Amable Morales, Daniel Hokamp, Edith Vilamajó, Rosa López, Miriam Borham, and Daniel Oval. These individuals contributed reflections, devotionals, or prayer materials throughout the different days of the Week of Prayer.
On this page, you will be able to download the material for the WOP 2027 in different languages. For the moment, the WOP 2027 material is only available in English. If you have made a translation into your language, please send it to the EEA office, so it can be made available on this site.
