EEA’s socio-political team – the socio-political and the Brussels representative – have the privilege of being able to connect, equip and represent 20 million Evangelicals across Europe so that the Good News of Jesus Christ is spread.

We are passionate about the socio-political aspect of the Gospel, knowing that Jesus’ Kingdom principles not only bring blessing to all people but also reveal who Jesus is. Therefore,

• We work to promote these biblical values at the European Union institutions in Brussels.

• We support our member alliances, networks and ministries in their socio-political witness and they, in turn, equip local Church to share God’s love in word and practical care.

• Our priority issue is to defend freedom of religion or belief and of expression.

• And we do all these things, remembering that Christians are called to be Christ’s ambassadors, seeking to honour Him by contributing a positive Good News message, Good News People indeed.

At a time when Christianity is misunderstood and sometimes seen in a negative light, it is more important than ever that Evangelicals learn from one another and speak together so that our impact is increased and we remain rooted in biblical values. This is where EEA’s core DNA of building partnership and collaboration comes into play.  Equally, after more than 30 years of working in Brussels, the EEA representative works to keep the respect that we have as a non-partisan, informed and professional voice. Our specialism is freedom of religion or belief and expression within Europe but, with the support of so many experts, we can influence on many other issues.

EEA is grateful for all who already support this work financially. However, we do need more supporters.
