Christianity and Islam are among the fastest-growing faiths in the world today, creating both new challenges and unprecedented opportunities for Christian witness. Across many Muslim-majority contexts, there is increasing openness to the Gospel, with reports indicating remarkable church growth in places such as Iran. In this season of opportunity, collaboration, learning, and mutual encouragement among those engaged in ministry among Muslims are more important than ever.
To strengthen this shared mission, the International Council of Evangelical Engagement with Muslims (ICEEM), the Muslim Ministries Network of the European Evangelical Alliance, will host a major European gathering in Albania from 2–5 October 2026, immediately preceding the Hope for Europe gathering. After many years without a large Europe-wide evangelical conference focused on engagement with Muslims, this event offers a unique opportunity for mission leaders, practitioners, churches, and organisations to connect, share experience, and explore effective ways of communicating Christ’s love among Muslim communities across Europe and beyond.
Further information and registration are available at the EEA’s Hope for Europe Gathering website. To learn more about ICEEM and the EEA Muslim Ministries Network. We warmly encourage all those involved in ministry among Muslims—or interested in learning more—to join this strategic gathering and contribute to this growing movement of Gospel witness across Europe.
