18 Days of Freedom
What does freedom mean to you? That is the question that people across Europe will be answering during the first 18 days of October. They will post photos at #18daysoffreedom and tag friends on social media to get people thinking about how precious freedom is. And then, on 18th October, EU Anti-Trafficking Day, we will remember those who have no freedom, those who have been trafficked into terrible situations of exploitation, those who have a long journey of recovery for them to be fully free and what makes this journey more difficult. Many partners will highlight the terrible impact prostitution has and how prostitution law can make the matter far worse or better. 18 Days of Freedom is an initiative of the European Freedom Network but we are delighted that others will be joining in, including in other continents. From Spain to Ukraine, the United Kingdom to Bulgaria, partners will be getting the debate going on social media, and, on 18th October, organising events, both large and small. Do pray that 18 Days of Freedom generates new concern and action on human trafficking. How to do it! Contact Jennifer Roemhildt Tunehag or Julia Doxat-Purser for more information. #18daysoffreedom    https://www.facebook.com/europeanfreedomnetwork Read in German
