Who is Maranatha Christian Mission?

At their most recent General Assembly on September 17, 2025, Maranatha Christian Mission was unanimously accepted as a new Affiliate Member of the European Evangelical Alliance (EEA) by the members of the EEA.

Maranatha Christian Mission was founded in Warsaw/Poland as a platform for cooperation between churches and organizations on a voluntary basis, united by a common vision and shared values. It forms a community of Christians from different denominations, united by a desire to influence European nations and to train dedicated ministers and leaders of European society who will follow Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit, with spiritual, emotional, and material support.
Vision statement: Europe turned to Christ. Guided by our main mission by influencing people from different nations with the Gospel!
Mission statement: To empower mature leaders to plant impacting churches and other institutions in strategic European cities.
The Maranatha Mission serves as a supporting body for existing churches and institutions, and helps to establish new ones in cooperation with the national fellowships and associations. Each church or organization is autonomous in its development, registration, and affiliation with local fellowships in their countries.
Our key objectives in Europe:
  1. Empowering mature leaders
  2. Planting new churches and supporting existing churches
  3. Institutional development, consisting of:
    1. Developing relationships and influence in key areas: education, family, art, media, medicine, politics, business.
    2. Social work: Life Centers, orphanages, soup kitchens for the homeless, humanitarian aid.
Currently, our network consists of 39 European churches – from Poland, Germany, Ukraine, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Sweden, Norway, Switzerland. Other European countries are joining.
Since 2022, we have launched 4 Life Centers in Poland: Warsaw, Lublin, Poznań and Lódź and 2 Life Centers in Ukraine: Luboml and Shatsk. We have ministered to more than 100,000 visitors, we have counselling and integration.
In September 2022, we have planted the integrational kindergarden “Safe Harbour” in Warsaw that serves more than 40 children and their families.
One of the Mission’s goals is to equip ministers with the necessary skills and competencies. To this end, the European Christian Academy (ECA) was opened in 2023 in Poland. It serves one of our objectives to develop mature leaders. As of October 2025, 290 students of various ages are enrolled at the Academy. The programs are practical and academic in nature and include pastoral academy, children’s ministry, teen and youth ministry, sound engineering, leadership, spiritual care and practical theology. For two years in a row, the Institute of Modern Mission has been held, where young people from European countries receive skills and tools for ministry in Europe. Every Christian has a mission – to be a person who can represent Christ through their life, attitude, and values. Our dream is for the peoples of Europe to accept Jesus Christ as their Savior, be filled with the Holy Spirit, and reflect Christ’s values in their lives, work, and service. We believe that God will act powerfully in Europe and that we will become participants in the fulfillment of God’s plan in Europe by uniting.
