Word of the year 2024: “Do everything in love.” (1 Corinthians 16:4)   

For Christ’s love compels us. (2 Corinthians 5:14)

For this is the message you heard from the beginning: We should love one another. (1 John 3:11)

We ask you beautiful Lord,

That you may reign in all the nations of Europe

May goodness, truth and honour arise and light the way in our communities.

God bless your Church.

Jesus Messiah, use your Church

To be a light for the nations

And bring salvation to the ends of the earth.

—–And on earth peace

Thank you, God of all humankind and for the common work and actions of the European peoples.

We pray that inappropriate nationalism and extremism of all types will not be able to build up higher walls between us, and cause disunity. We pray that Europe would be able to continue to play a positive role in the world. And we pray for the European Parliament elections in June. May truth be valued and heard. May you call voters to consider the common good.

Jesus, we pray for peace for those in Israel, in Gaza, in Ukraine and in all other lands and territories where there is fighting, hatred and violence.

We pray for truth, mercy, justice, and peace to work together for reconciliation and restoration.

Holy Spirit, meet the deepest longing of the heart of every man and woman

Touch us afresh with your love and favour

Come with a new global awakening
