Derek Copley and Thomas Bucher both attended the EEMA conference in Bucharest in November, one which covered Mission agencies in both the West and East. Having been asked by the Steering Group of the Central Asia Consultation to help the Central Asian nations to move forward into being an even more powerful missional regional body, Derek invited representatives from Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan to be present. They found some valuable examples of good practice among both Western and Eastern agencies, and returned home to engage in strategic planning for the future.
