Theme of the EEA General Assembly 2017
From October 9 to 12, 2017 we will have our EEA General Assembly. We are happy to share with you information about the program.

The theme is:

Mission in Europe 500 years after the Reformation

Europe in a secular, post secular, post modern, post Christendom, post Communism context

We will look at this theme with an emphasis on the Mission of the Church in the current European societies. We will discuss topics like:
  • The challenges of a society becoming post secular
  • Evangelicals and the reconciliation of the peoples of Europe
  • Barriers and Bridges in the above climate
For the morning Bible Studies Rosalee Velloso will join us. Rosalee is Executive Director of the WEA Theological Commission and has recently been appointed at Redcliffe college as Principal. For the lectures we welcome Evert van de Poll, Johannes Reimer and many more. The program is filled with not only lectures, but also workshops where you can choose a topic of your interest and discuss this with like-minded people. We will hear from National Evangelical Alliances and Affiliates about good practices. We have two very special evening programs: On Tuesday an evening dedicated to the youth work in Europe. The evening is co-organized with Mission-Net, the youth movement & congress in Europe. Guest speaker that evening is Dave Patty from Josiah Ventures. We encourage you again to bring your young leaders, so that we can dream about the future together with them. It will be an interactive evening! Wednesday we have invited Krish Kandaih. He will share with us and inspire us through his work with Home for Good and the EA UK about Churches in Mission. We will end the GA with an optional tour of Prague to visit some of the historical sites. Make sure you register now!
