*The Homo Responsiblis Initiative

Earlier this year, the EEA got in touch with a diverse group of experts on Artificial Intelligence. We gave ourselves the name Homo Responsibilis. As a group, we are all convinced of the possible impact that AI could have on our societies. Some of this might be positive, some of it not so much. As Christians, the group wants to inform fellow believers about the influence AI could have on our lives. How does that relate to Biblical teaching on being human and to God’s definition of human flourishing? But as experts, we also want to highlight possible consequences of the development of AI to policy makers and politicians who are currently thinking through the future of AI. Given the speed with which AI is evolving, time is of the essence and we appreciate prayers for wisdom and (prophetic) insight, and for the ears of those leading the debate on the future of AI in Europe and beyond.
