Bridge 2015
Bridge 2015, 20-24 April 2015 The European Freedom Network is running its 3rd major gathering, Bridge 2015, 20-24 April in Bucharest. We are thrilled that 200 EFN partners from 90 organisations and 28 nations will come together to strengthen the bridge to freedom. .These partners work in prevention, outreach, aftercare, intercession or advocacy. Our speakers include Glenn Miles, Anne Read, Viv & Sheila Thomas, Irene Hirzel, Katherine Welch, Veniamin Sasanov, Beth & David Grant, Helen Sworn, Dan Stafford, Yulia Ubeivolk, Joni Middleton, Maria Ahlin &  Monica Boseff. One day will be spent on the bridge to the world. Kindly hosted by the Romanian Parliament and in partnership with and sponsored by the European Christian Political Movement, we will participate in strengthening Romanian cooperation to fight human trafficking. We will also consider how NGOs can officially partner with their authorities in service delivery and how they can work with politicians to improve policy and practice on trafficking and prostitution. This bridge to the world day is open to politicians and journalists who are not EFN partners but are concerned to support the efforts to combat human trafficking and sexual exploitation. It will be the opportunity for mutual learning and strategizing between visitors and EFN partners in order to improve policy and practice at both national and European level. They can register for this day at http://www.ecpm.info/event/politicians-and-civil-society-against-human-trafficking
