Equipping the Church to prevent exploitation:  Online conference 9 October

By Jennifer Roemhildt Tunehag

The increasingly online world of the pandemic has made connection possible, but it has also brought risks into our homes.  How can we keep our children safe from exploitation?  How do we live as people of faith in a world where people are bought and sold?  What does it look like to believe and to become Good News in our world?

On Saturday, 9 October, from 10-16 CET, the European Freedom Network will offer its first online conference for churches.   The one-day event is designed for Christian leaders and church members, with a special focus on equipping parents and Christian educators to prevent exploitation.

The conference will offer a solid foundation for faith in a world of fear, and build our understanding of vulnerability and exploitation.

In the afternoon, participants can choose from tracks designed to equip parents, educators, and church leaders with tools for action. Don’t miss the session with church educator and anti-trafficking specialist Peta-Ann Small on “Identifying the God moments: Talking about tough topics with your kids”!

Visit www.europeanfreedomnetwork.org/bridge-church/ to learn more and to register.  Early bird rate of 35 euros for church groups is valid until September 12th.  Invite your whole leadership team!

The European Freedom Network is building a bridge to freedom across Europe.  Join us on the journey.
