We are pleased to announce the Week of Prayer 2027, centred on the theme “For the glory of God and the blessing of His people.” This upcoming edition of one of the longest-standing traditions in the Evangelical world invites evangelical believers across Europe to unite in prayer, rooted in a rich spiritual heritage and a renewed vision for the future. Marking 150 years since the founding of their National Evangelical Alliance, our friends and colleagues in Spain have developed the material for next year’s Week of Prayer, which calls believers to reflect on God’s faithfulness through generations and to respond with renewed commitment in today’s context. The Week of Prayer 2027 is structured around three key pillars—unity among God’s people, a prophetic voice faithful to Scripture, and Christ-like service expressed with excellence and love—offering churches a biblically grounded and spiritually enriching journey of prayer.
We warmly thank the Spanish Evangelical Alliance for preparing these inspiring and theologically rich resources. Their work not only honours a legacy of perseverance and witness but also serves the wider European church with clarity, depth, and passion. As we gather in 2027, may this Week of Prayer strengthen our shared identity in Christ, deepen our dependence on God, and encourage us to live out the gospel with unity, courage, and compassion—trusting that the God who has been faithful in the past will continue to lead His people into the future.
The materials for the Week of Prayer 2027 are now available for download on the EEA website. As usual, translations into various European languages will be made available on the site as soon as they have been prepared by our member alliances in different parts of Europe.
