    On the occasion of the ‘Year of the Bible’ endorsed by the World Evangelical Alliance, the European Evangelical Alliance (EEA) is focusing on the communication theme ‘The Relevance of the Bible for European Societies’ for the second half of the year 2020. Jeff Fountain, initiator of the Schuman Center for European Studies, has devoted a series of articles in his weekly column ‘Weekly Word’ to the relevance of the Bible to numerous areas of life in European society and has kindly agreed to make these articles available to the EEA.

Basically, every 3 years, the UN questions every country very thoroughly in a “universal periodic review” (UPR). And the wonderful World Evangelical Alliance (WEA) team at the UN in Geneva could help you submit a report on the human rights issues which concern you most.
